Monitra UHF sensors detect electromagnetic waves from PD in gas-insulated switchgear (GIS).

The UHF barrier sensor is attached over the insulation barriers (support, spacer) on GIS. Barriers should not be metal covered. The UHF window sensor is fitted over pressure sealed inspection windows of the GIS. Both sensors can be installed temporarily for spot testing or permanently for PD monitoring with retrofit to existing GIS installations
